FEATURED PUBLICATION: The Write Way to Travel
Dear Reader,
I’m looking for a few good writers…
If you have a travel tip to share, something that would make traveling more interesting, more affordable, or simply easier — please send it my way.
Submissions should be between 300 and 600 words. Personal, first-person stories are encouraged, although not necessary.
There’s a great article in our e-letter archives at www.thetravelwriterslife.com on how to write pieces like this. It’s called The Easiest and Fastest Way to Get a By-Line and a Check. You’ll find it here.
There is no deadline on this assignment. If we like what you send, we’ll publish it and you’ll get paid (between $50 and $100). I am, however, looking for a regular columnist too. So be sure to read the Art of Travel article above and follow all the guidelines. I’m looking for a writer that can produce stories consistently and to order. I’ll use this assignment as a screening tool to find the writer I want.
To apply, send your 300- to 600-word article to articles@thetravelwriterslife.com. Resumes and cover letters are not necessary. The proof is in the pudding as they say – your writing should speak for itself.
Have a good weekend!
