WHERE READERS ARE INTERESTED IN TRAVEL, WEALTH, FREEDOM…
By Siu-Yee Hicks
Disappearing Acts is an online travel and investment newsletter that has been around for just one year. It goes out to 5,000 readers each week. And the editors are happy to take submissions from non-published writers.
Disappearing Acts website is a growing collection of travel guides, articles and insider secrets that seek to find potential in obscure destinations around the globe.
This publication offers honest reviews and assessments of travel destinations. In each issue, savvy travelers and sharp-witted opportunists give inside secrets on where to go, what to see and also what business or international real estate opportunities exist in the destination being covered.
Disappearing Acts strategically seeks to cover “up and coming” locations that have abundant, but overlooked, profit potential. Our mission is to discover and reveal untouched — but ready to blossom — destinations for living, retiring, investing or just vacationing.
When you write for us you can talk about the culture, climate, and the property prices etc. in an area, but in addition we would like the piece to relate to not only a possible vacation destination but maybe something more, i.e. retirement destination, or a second home, or an investment of some sort etc.
All submissions for Disappearing Acts should be a minimum of 900 words, with a target of roughly 1,200 words per piece.
Examples of Disappearing Acts articles can be found by visiting the web site – www.disappearingacts.net.
Please send all submissions — and questions — to Siu-Yee Hicks at yeehicks@yahoo.com. Disappearing Acts pays $75 per article published.
