How to Create a Simple Home Studio
In case you haven’t heard it enough this week, the best time to get started selling your photos to stock agencies is NOW.
And not just because the best time to start anything is now. But because stock photography is a time game. The longer your photos are up for sale, the more opportunities they have to sell.
And, here’s something else you should know: Because stock sales typically pick up in September, summer is the best time to start building your online portfolio. As we head into the fall season, photo buyers scour stock sites, looking for back-to-school and holiday themes.
Of course, the great thing about summer is you can easily get started taking shots based on these themes in your own backyard, while the weather is nice.
To help you get set up, I’ve pulled out a special video for you about how you can create an outdoor studio at home. You can watch it here….
In it, Breakfast Stock Club creator, Bonnie Caton, shows you how you can create studio-quality photos with nothing but a table, some white poster board, and sunlight in your own backyard.
