How to Make People Disappear in Photos: Day 3: GEP Photography Expedition in Bali, Indonesia

Bonnie here again, writing to you from our photo expedition in Ubud, Bali.
Today we got up early to visit Besakih — the most important temple on the island. If you ever go, do it first thing in the morning like we did. We had the place to ourselves, and got lots of mystical temple shots without any tourists walking around, sticking out like a pair of brand new white tennis shoes. It was great.
Sometimes, though, you just can’t avoid tourists. Some of the most photographable sites in the world are covered in ‘em. So what do you do?
Here’s a video tip from Rich, with a simple camera trick for making people disappear when you shoot (don’t worry, it doesn’t involve yodeling or bagpipes):
