Photos vs. Videos: Which of These Sold More?

We’re talking this week about the power of photos vs. videos.
Here’s an example…
Professional stock photographer Lise Gagne shot this photo of a mother and daughter having a picnic in a park…

While her husband and partner, professional photographer and videographer, Louis LeBlanc created this short video…

Both were edited for sale on their computer.  And both were uploaded to istockphoto.com for sale.
One sold more than 90 times.  The other sold just once.  Can you guess which one outsold the other?
The video.  Right!
Now, don’t get me wrong — I’m not saying this will always be the case.  Video won’t always outsell photo.
But if you’re ignoring that little video button on your camera or smartphone, you’re missing out on a big opportunity.  One that might even be easier than the opportunities I’ve sent you before on selling simple travel photographs.
